I could watch playthroughs like that for a long time. What options are available? Fire damage as an obvious choice against shadows. The look of Shades, Phantoms and Spectres is fearsome enough to withdraw and think twice. When the party explores a new area slowly and carefully, she pulls back to a safe area and really tries to develop a plan if she has discovered unknown enemies. She plays the game differently and much more slowly. I've watched a local player here, who prefers pen and paper rpgs and has been talked into playing PoE. There aren't enough spirits to surround your entire party and stun-lock all of them. In my case this is because I don't consider those Stun afflictions a problem the player cannot solve. Автор сообщения: jinath715It does, however, baffle me to no end that people actually support the development of game mechanics such as stun-lock in an RPG adventure game which is actually supposed to be a lot of fun. 7 days to die, while being survival game rather than RPG (it will stand for the comparsion tho), introduced quite enjoyable system of setting your own difficulty. Here is the thing, I like when game allows to customise difficulty (I assume White March expansion is doing something like that?). Quite frankly, I am satsifed so far as well. Once again, its all about micromanagment of your party, but I can see why someone can view it as badly designed mechanic, lets face it, that on higher difficulties, the amount of casts is low, I assume we can agree on that, but since certain people already finished the game even with limited casts, the question is how much of a problem it really is, since game reviews, both proffesional and here, on steam, are fairly satisfied with the game. Then you pointed out the "limited casts" thing.

But then again, chances are that your PC is not caster, or doesnt have lore high enough. I would follow the basic rule of mine:Something too difficult ->pop some spells. But on the subsequent playthroughs, I never had problems with phantoms, or dank spores, or any kind of CC in the game for that matter, I guess you can blame the RNG gods, but I take it the situation is much more complex on solo runs, where, if you get stuned, well you are done.

If I understand complaints correctly, the problem is with passive attribute of phantoms, giving you stun, to be honest, on my first playthrough through the temple (I did 3 so far, each on normal difficulty), yes, I was completly torn apart, I was annoyed. I understand why so many people disaggre with it, yet in my opinion, this is much more of a problem in say, action RPGs rather than anything else.
